Description HHV1-gB(UniProt ID P08665) synthetic glycopeptide HSV1-gB fragment (Thr53-Pro56; UniProt position 53-56, aa length 4) from the N-terminal region of Herpes Simplex Virus type-1 glycoprotein B. O-glycosylation, Sialyl Tn (Neu5Acα2-6GalNAcα-O-Thr) at position Thr53. The C-terminus is an amide. The glycopeptide is known to bind Paired immunoglobulin-like type 2 receptor alpha (PILRα), and this association is involved in HSV-1 infection.
