All U.S. importers of chemical substances, mixtures or articles are required to provide a TSCA (Toxic Control Substances Act) Certification to prevent import clearance delays.

All Sussex Research Laboratories Inc. (SRL) products are exempt and have a negative certification due to their use as research materials only.

For U.S. based recipients, by purchasing any applicable product from SRL, you authorize SRL to act as your agent for the purpose of preparing a TSCA Certification.

A Certificate of Origin is used to obtain preferential tariff treatment when importing into Canada, the United States and Mexico. Parties who wish to import duty free utilizing the preferential benefits of the USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA (formerly the North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA) must have a valid Certificate of Origin on file at time of claim, completed by either the Exporter, the Producer, or the Importer. This document is completed by us and supplied with your shipment.

The Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) Declaration of Origin is a document supplied with each shipment to the EU for preferential tariff treatment of your order upon importation. This document is completed by us and supplied with your shipment.

The Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) is an internal document collected by the Canadian Border Services Agency. It may be included in your shipment if the total value of goods are equal to or greater than $2,000 CAD and if the final destination of the goods is a country other than Mexico, the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Normally, this document should not be included with your shipment and is of no concern for the consignee.

A Manufacturer’s Declaration is a document providing relevant information about the product which is used by international customs and other agencies during the importation process.
